Organization and Duties
The Division has planned and established an overall/main project and four sub-projects according to the characteristics of the work involved. These are the following:
- Overall project: Content Development
- Sub-project 1: Digitally Archived Information – Investigation, Creation and Research & Development
- Sub-project 2: To Display and Publicize the Products of Archiving
- Sub-project 3: The Establishment of a Digital Archives Union Catalog System
- Sub-project 4: Open/Public Solicitations for Content Development of the Digital Archives
Content Development Committee
Core Working Group
To effectively reach the work target, the Content Development Division has especially brought together the nation’s digitization experts and scholars from relevant fields to form the Content Development Committee. Through holding periodic meetings, the Committee sets the project’s execution policy; investigates and discusses the situation in digital content creation and development; and sets working standards etc. The Committee has also established 15 thematic groups according to the characteristics of the holdings, allowing deeper investigation and exploration of the contents within the different academic and technological fields, so that the importance and value of each holding can be fully displayed.
